San Juan Rangers

Since 1963 Troop F of the San Juan Mounted Patrol (formerly Colorado Mounted Rangers) has protected and served Archuleta County by working cooperatively with and under the direction of public officials responsible for emergency management, law enforcement and public safety. Each SJMP member swears an oath to uphold the Constitution and laws of Colorado and the United States. Members receive no compensation for assisting with event security, traffic direction, search & rescue, and other related activities at the request of law enforcement, emergency management, civic organizations and event managers. SJMP is a Colorado non-profit corporation and funds its operations through community donations.
