Rise Above Violence promotes the belief that all people have the right to live free and from violence by providing support and advocacy services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and other interpersonal violence. Trained advocates provide 24-hour assistance with emergency needs / crisis intervention, transportation, advocacy (including court), counseling, information and referral. Bi-monthly support groups for women, children and teens are available. Professional trainers uphold lasting community change through violence prevention education programs aimed at youth, specialized training to targeted audiences, and outreach efforts and events for the community at large. All Rise services are free and confidential in both English and Spanish.
