Pagosa Weather is a nonprofit weather forecasting and community outreach program. The weather information is available through the web page Pagosaweather.org or through Pagosa Weather on Facebook.
Pagosa Weather was founded in 2016 by Todd Cook to express his interest and love for weather, and to give something back to the community. Arleen Prochazka, Shawn Prochazka, and Mark Langford joined the Pagosa Weather team in 2019. Arleen, Shawn, and Mark are the National Weather Service (NWS) Archuleta County Weather Ready Nation (WRN) Ambassadors. They were recognized by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) as 2022 National WRN Ambassadors of Excellence. Arleen and Shawn are the NWS Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow (CoCoRaHS) Network coordinators for Archuleta County. Both Arleen and Shawn are members of the American Meteorological Society (AMS).
