Additional Info

The purpose of Aspen House is to provide safe and affordable room and board for adults with developmental disabilities in Archuleta County. Currently, there are no facilities in this area that provide housing for this particular group of adults. Aspen House will be a residential home for these individuals.

The waiting list at other facilities state and nationwide are running as long as ten years. In addition, the parents and guardians of these children are becoming older and seek the security of knowing their children can comfortably live out their lives.

Aspen House will also offer services, such as, recreation, mentorships, community engagement, and, as applicable to each member of the home, vocational support services. These programs will be constantly reviewed and modified in order for these individuals to fully experience the opportunities and independence that they need to reach their full potential as active, contributing members of the Pagosa Springs community.

Recognized 501c3 non-profit corporation and Colorado Enterprise Zone Contribution Project.
