Women's 1 Day Knots & Shelters

Sunday, August 2, 2026 (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) (MDT)

Description

Pressed for time but hungry for adventure? This “2-in-1” Knots & Shelter Course combines 2 outdoor skills into a single day. This course is especially nice for those who know knots are incredibly useful, yet don't have a natural affinity with them. We will learn just 7-10 knots and spend the rest of the time focused on how to apply them to building "forts"! Learn to tie, build, and thrive in the wild—no prior experience required! Shelter is our second line of defense during temperature extremes, especially since getting decent sleep is essential to our ability to think and function! What you'll get:

•  Learn 7-10 knots useful in shelter and survival applications
•  Assist in building several different types of shelters
•  See how shelters can be modified for a variety of environments
•  A colorful cord to continue your knots practice with

Time: 9 am - 5 pm Bring your lunch and any snacks you like!
