The Pagosa Springs Earth Day Film Fest

The Geothermal Greenhouse Partnership invites the community to celebrate Earth Day with an evening showing of environmental films at the Liberty Theater. This event, the Pagosa Springs Earth Day Film Fest, is a Caravan of the Colorado Environmental Film Festival recently held in Golden and will include three best of class fillms:  Global Warming, Best Feature Film; What the River Knows, Best Short Film; and Chirp Talker, Best Youth Films. The GGP takes seriously its role in our community as an advocate of environmental stewardship and presents the above program as part of that function.  The event is also a major fund raiser and proceeds will support the recent maintenance project undertaken to keep the three demonstration domes on the site in pristine condition as they represent our community.  This is an opportunity for the community in turn to show its support. Folks with an interest in a hands-on relationship with the domes can support the GGP by participating in the actual programs - education, growing, community relations.
