Seeds of Learning is a non-profit Early Care and Education Center in Pagosa Springs. We have 45 children daily, 15 toddlers (ages 18 to 36 months) and 30 preschoolers (ages 3, 4 & 5). Tuition is based on a sliding scale and assistance is available.

Pueblo Community College Southwest is a comprehensive community college in Colorado serving the counties of Archuleta, Dolores, La Plata, Montezuma and San Juan.

Pagosa Peak Open School (PPOS) Pagosa Peak Open School is an intentionally small and intimate K-8 public school, chartered through the Archuleta School District and governed by an independent, volunteer board of directors.

Early childhood education is ACEC's current focus. As one of ACEC's educational projects, Wings, Archuleta County's newest early childhood center, is targeted to open in the fall of 2019 for 40 toddlers and preschoolers.
