This is a comprehensive 2-day NRA-endorsed class that includes basic handgun shooting skills for those with little or no previous experience. Topics Include: firearms safety\, proper shooting grips\, stances\, site alignment\, familiarization with revolvers and semi-auto pistols\, how to select a handgun for your purpose\, ammo types and selection\, legal issues\, firearms cleaning and more. NOTE: It is recommended that students attend this class PRIOR to purchasing a firearm. Please contact Greg Dykstra at pwfirearms@gmail.com or call 480-227-9661 to sign up. This class is limited in size. A student handbook will be distributed to all attending students in advance to read in order to better prepare students for the class and to be a permanent reference guide. A $50 deposit is required to cover class materials\, student handbook\, and expenses.
