Experience the magic of fall in Pagosa Springs during Colorfest 2026! Join us for a weekend of community, music, good food, beer and spirit tastings, and mountain-town fun.
Kick things off Friday, September 18, with Passport to Pagosa from 6–9 PM—an evening of exploring local businesses, delicious bites, and voting for your favorite restaurant in the People’s Choice Contest. For more information on Passport to Pagosa visit the event page to purchase tickets.
Then come back Saturday, September 19, for Bands, Brews & Barrels from 4–8 PM, featuring live music, DJ, beer and spirits, and the chance to cast your vote in the People’s Choice Brewer & Distiller Contest. Passport to Pagosa - Friday, 9-18-26 from 6-9pm
Bands, Brews & Barrels (Available to all ages) - Saturday, 9-19-26 at 4 PM - Night Glow and drone show - at dusk.
Hot Air Balloon Launches - Saturday about 8am from downtown South of the Springs Resort and Sunday about 8am uptown across from Les Schwab. (Weather Permitting)
Tickets will go on sale for the Passport to Pagosa and Bands, Brews & Barrels June 1, 2026
No charge for the viewing of the hot air balloon mass ascensions
Passport to Pagosa and Bands, Brews & Barrels take place in Yamaguchi Park on S. 5th St.
Hot air balloon mass ascension on Saturday is from the downtown area.
Hot air balloon mass ascension on Sunday is from the west side of town.
Passport to Pagosa - Friday, Sept. 19 6-9 p.m.
Bands and Brews - Saturday, Sept. 20 4-8 p.m.
Hot Air Balloon Evening Glow - Saturday, Sept. 20 about 7 p.m. or dusk.
Hot Air Balloon Mass Ascensions - Sept. 20 & 21 about 7:30 a.m.
